01
Who we are and what this policy covers
This website, vastukala.co.in, is operated by Vastukala Consultants (I) Pvt. Ltd. (CIN U74120MH2010PTC207869), with its registered office at B1-001, U/B Floor, Boomerang, Chandivali Farm Road, Powai, Andheri East, Mumbai 400072, Maharashtra, India. In this policy “we” and “us” mean that company.
It explains what personal information the website collects, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It covers the website only. Information we receive while carrying out a valuation, TEV, LIE or engineering assignment is handled under the terms of that engagement and the confidentiality obligations we owe the appointing bank, institution or client.
02
What we collect
Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we receive what you type: your name and phone number (required), and if you provide them your email address, company, the service and purpose you need, the type of asset, its approximate value range and location, the date you need the report by, the bank or institution involved, and your message. You may attach up to 3 documents (PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX; 10 MB in total). Please do not send identity documents such as PAN or Aadhaar through the form — we will ask for anything we need once an assignment is agreed.
Technical details with an enquiry. To limit abuse of the form we record a shortened one-way hash of your internet address (not the address itself) and your browser’s user-agent string with each enquiry.
Analytics. On the live site we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which enquiries are started. See section 4 for how it is configured.
Server logs. Like every website, our server keeps standard access logs (address, time, page requested, browser) for a limited period, for security and troubleshooting.
Calls, WhatsApp and email. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we receive whatever you choose to share, and WhatsApp and your email provider process the message under their own policies.
03
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, ask any follow-up questions and send you a proposal.
- To route your enquiry to the office or team that handles that service or location.
- To keep the form working and prevent spam and misuse (rate limits, file checks).
- To understand how the website is used, in aggregate, and improve it.
We do not sell personal information, add you to marketing lists, or use the enquiry details for advertising.
05
Where it is kept and for how long
Each enquiry is emailed to our office and stored, with any attachments, in a database on our own infrastructure in India. The stored copy is deleted automatically 45 days after it is received. If the database is unavailable when you submit, the enquiry is kept on the web server instead and deleted after the same period.
The emailed copy is handled as ordinary business correspondence. If your enquiry leads to an assignment, the information we need for it is kept under the terms of that engagement and our record-keeping obligations as registered valuers.
Analytics data is held by Google under the retention period set in our Analytics account. Server logs are rotated after a short period.
07
How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS. The enquiry endpoint accepts submissions only from this website, limits how many enquiries one visitor can send in an hour, checks every attachment’s type and size, and stores your internet address only as a shortened hash. Access to stored enquiries is limited to the staff who respond to them.
08
Your rights and how to reach us
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, withdraw consent you have given, and raise a grievance about how we have handled it. Write to mumbai@vastukala.co.in or call +91 22 4749 5919, or post to the registered office above. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period the law allows.
If your enquiry was sent within the last 45 days we can delete it immediately on request; after that the stored copy has already been deleted.
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
09
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the website’s handling of personal information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top. This version is dated 8 October 2026.
